Dan Meyers: President
Dan Meyers is the President of TransPerfect Legal’s Information Governance division. Dan advises clients on e-discovery best practices and motion practice, litigation readiness plans, defensible data disposition programs, and data privacy concerns, with a particular emphasis on cross-border data transfers. His clients range from financial institutions and multinational corporations to start-ups and small-to-medium businesses. Dan is certified as an E-Discovery Specialist (ACEDS) and an Information Privacy Professional (CIPP/US).
Prior to joining TransPerfect, Dan was a Commercial Litigation Partner at an Am Law 100 law firm and the Founder and Chair of the firm’s E-Discovery & Information Governance practice group. Dan’s commercial litigation practice covered a wide range of complex business disputes before federal and state courts, including cross-border, corporate governance, bankruptcy, securities, breach of contract, and business tort cases.
Al-Karim Mahkani, Vice-President
Al-Karim leads TransPerfect Legal’s UK, EMEA and APAC divisions. When he joined 8 years ago, TransPerfect Legal was heavily US-focused. Today, non-US divisions boast teams of industry leading eDiscovery talent working on hundreds of complex, high profile matters globally. Testament to this is TransPerfect Legal’s involvement in a quarter of The Lawyer’s top 20 Cases of 2024.
Prior to his move into the legal technology space, Al-Karim was a senior disputes practitioner in the London and Hong Kong offices of Stephenson Harwood. He lectures at various academic institutions including University of London and University of Law where, he designed and delivered the eDiscovery lecture within the revamped SQE. He regularly contributes to leading industry bodies like the ICC, IBA and AIJA. Al-Karim authored a chapter on disintermediation and dematerialisation in Kluwers Laws textbook on International Arbitration. He was appointed as an advisor to the Ministry of Justice and DTIs Great Legal Futures.
Anna Nicola, Director, Corporate Legal
Anna oversees TransPerfect Legal corporate legal practice since 2021. She has a particularly strong focus on internal investigations and cross-border litigation. She’s partnered with large corporations, employers, and international law firms for over 7 years and has built expertise in identifying how to improve workflows and leverage company data to innovate legal, privacy, and compliance functions.
2023 Most Notable Matter: Developed a program to supplement the internal investigations team capabilities of a multi-national chemical company.
Alex Seigle-Morris, Vice-President, Digital Forensics
Alex Seigle-Morris is a digital forensics and eDiscovery expert with over 18 years’ experience covering both criminal and commercial engagements. He has provided forensic and eDiscovery consultative support to a wide range of clients, and currently sits as a Vice President in TransPerfect Legal’s Forensic Technology and Consulting division, overseeing operations across the UK, EMEA and APAC regions.
Prior to joining TransPerfect Legal more than ten years ago, Alex worked at a reputable boutique information security consultancy, a specialist Digital Forensics provider, and as a third-party contractor providing digital forensic services to two of the largest police forces in the United Kingdom.
Katharine Perekslis, Vice-President, eDiscovery Project Management
Katharine Perekslis joined TransPerfect in 2006 and is currently the Vice President of E-Discovery Project Management at TransPerfect Legal. In this capacity, Katharine oversees the global E-Discovery Project Management and Hosting teams located throughout the US, Canada, the EU, Australia, and Hong Kong. She advises clients on e-discovery workflow strategy and the use of AI and advanced analytics tools in litigations and investigations. Katharine holds a Relativity Master certification.
Prior to moving into the e-discovery space in 2009, Katharine worked in legal translation project management at TransPerfect Legal’s parent company, TransPerfect, where she gained valuable exposure to international litigations, and brings a unique background to multilingual e-discovery. She graduated from Middlebury College with a degree in French and Women’s and Gender Studies.
Michael Kriegal, Vice-President, Consulting
Michael Kriegal has ten years of experience in eDiscovery. He heads up TransPerfect Legal’s Technical Consulting division as Vice President. His focus is on advanced analytics and AI, predictive coding, creating workflows for novel matters, vetting new technologies, supporting fast-paced matters, and consulting with clients and regulators.
As part of the Antitrust Practice Group, Michael helps clients navigate the complex waters of regulators, including the DOJ and FTC. This includes consulting regarding Pre-Review Analytics®, predictive coding workflows, ESI specifications, short message data sources and ephemeral data sources. Michael has extensive experience in the discovery consulting space with ESI processing as a Project Manager and a team lead. He has significant experience in Digital Reef, LAW PreDiscovery, SQL Databases, script and application development, Relativity (as a Relativity Master), Brainspace, Equivio, and various other e-Discovery tools and technologies.
Reuben Miller, Associate, Consulting
Reuben is an associate in our consulting team and operates across the EMEA region. He specialises legal research, data and business intelligence, with over 5 years of experience working in law firms, insurance departments and legal technology specialists within Ireland and the UK.
Reuben carries out in his role for TransPerfect Legal; litigation research, claim tracking, legal market analysis, law firm and company profiles and internal metrics analysis for business intelligence purposes.
Stefan Nigam – Director, Antitrust
Stefan is a senior consultant with TransPerfect Legal, advising lawyers in-house and in private practice on cutting edge technology solutions to improve the delivery of legal services. Key areas of focus include competition/antitrust matters, regulatory investigations and the implementation of AI in legal processes. Stefan is a qualified solicitor (E&W). Prior to joining TransPerfect Legal, Stefan worked in Allen & Overy’s competition team, where he advised clients on regulatory investigations and multi-jurisdictional mergers – notably, advising on the USD27bn acquisition by the London Stock Exchange Group of Refinitiv. He was worked in-house with Kambi, a global sports-betting technology provider where he was part of the team that won Vixio2021 Global Regulatory Awards’ In-House Counsel Team of the Year.
Inneli Udurawana, Director, Project Management
Inneli Udurawana is an eDiscovery specialist with a legal background and over 10 years of experience managing complex discovery projects. She is an expert in early case assessment, data exceptions resolution, and workflow generation. Inneli presently manages a team of Project Managers and Analysts based in London.
She is a Relativity Certified Administrator and has attained proficiency in a variety of eDiscovery platforms throughout the EDRM life cycle. Inneli has honed her industry knowledge and experience developing complex workflows and managing multi-jurisdictional projects in the United States and throughout the EMEA region. During the past year Inneli oversaw a multi-terabyte merger investigation for the EU Commission and the latest multi-jurisdictional patent challenge with a long-term pharmaceutical client.
