How to login to GlobalLink

  1. Log into Okta with Airwallex email
  2. Search for TransPerfect in the search bar
  3. Click on Transperfect Global link icon

No GlobalLink Icon in Okta?

Airwallex uses Single Sign On (SSO) therefore if you want to access GlobalLink, log an Airwallex IT ticket internally with this request, then send a user creation request to the Transperfect support team at airwallex_support@transperfect.com

We support both standard and creative translations. Please note that translation turnaround times depend on a number of factors like the amount of languages, whether review is involved, how much repeated text is within the file, etc. TransPerfect’s aim is to be flexible to your requests and would like to help ensure we never miss a deadline so if you have any questions, please reach out to airwallex@transperfect.com. In general, please use the below as a guide to assist in developing expectations around translation timelines. If needed, projects can be expedited for an additional fee to achieve shorter time frames.

Quick Help & Resources

How long does translation take?

Translation turnaround times are typically based on the total word count of the document. If this is your first time submitting a project with TransPerfect (TPT), then please get in touch with the team at airwallex@transperfect.com who can provide some metrics and options for your requests!

How much does a translation cost?

Once a request is submitted, TransPerfect will analyse the file to see if there is existing translation memory that can be leveraged for the new project. The team will provide a quote and timeline within 24 hours of a new request.

Why TransPerfect?

Part of the TransPerfect solution is to use technology to centralize preferences as well as leverage translation memory (TM) for time and cost reduction. By centralizing translation memory, the Airwallex team will realize cost savings over time while also increasing their TM database. Our solution also includes an online review tool so language reviewers can save preferences in a central location. Through language pre-flight exercises, we have also created a glossary and style guide approved by Airwallex, allowing our linguists to learn the tone of voice and industry-specific terminology. Reviewing a quote (PM)

    1. In the Submissions view, double-click a submission that includes a quote. A submission with quotes has the Quote status of Provided.
  1. In the Quotes tab of the Submission drawer, click the radio button next to each quote and optional line items, to select them. Select one quote per language.Complete the following optional steps:
    • Click Rate details to view the detailed rates for each supplier.
    • Click Award all, to approve all quotes from one supplier.
    • Click Request update to request the supplier to provide an updated quote.
    • Click Clear selection to clear all quote selections.
  2. Click Approve quote.
  3. In the Approve quote dialog, review all approved quotes. Selected optional line items display a green check , and those not selected display a red warning .If you forgot to select an optional line item, click Cancel to go back to the Quotes tab and select them. Complete the following optional steps:
    • Enter the PO number. Click Apply to all, if you want to apply one PO number to all quotes.
    • Click Show previously approved quotes to view quotes that you have already approved.
    • Enter a comment.

NOTE: After you have approved a quote, you cannot cancel the submission or cancel parts of it, such as batches or files.

  4. Click Approve quotes. The quote is approved, and the supplier receives an email notification. The Quote status changes to Approved. When a quote is ready for your review a small purple sun icon will appear next to your submission. Under the “Financials” tab select “Quote Review” to either accept or reject your quote.

NOTE: once approved this will move automatically from the “On Hold” tab to the “Active” tab

Adding your Edits

If you want to make an edit or amendment whilst reviewing the translated content simply add the edit directly into the language column. The system works like tracked changes so you can add, edit and delete as much as you like and all changes are saved.

Once you have added an edit it will highlight the change in green and the “score” column will change to pink.

NOTE: you cannot add edits to the source “English” column

NOTE: do not add edits to the “Comments” column

Using OPP (QA)

OPP (On Page Preview) is the in-context review generated in the right hand pane of the review portal. This generates layout preview of the translated content so you can review your edits in real time.

TIPS: if you hover over a string in OPP it will show you the original English string

TIPS: by double clicking on that string, it will take you to the editable segment on the left pane

Finalising a Submission (QA)

Once you have finished checking the content and want to close out your task, under the “File” tab select “Finish review”
