InterAct

Streamlined Scheduled Interpretation

InterAct offers a tailored experience where interpreters are carefully selected for Aviva, allowing clients to choose interpreters for each session. The familiarity and consistency provided by InterAct interpreters enhance the quality and effectiveness of communication during these sessions. Use cases include:

  • Pre-scheduled virtual remote or onsite interpretation sessions
  • Recurring client meetings in-person or over video communication platforms (Zoom, Teams, etc.)

Connect

Instant access to professional interpreters

Connect is a cost-effective solution, but you won’t be able to select the interpreter or provide context in the way you can with prescheduled appointments via InterAct. Connect is ideal for:

  • One-time sessions
  • Non-recurring sessions
  • Re-occurring sessions where clients may need flexibility due to frequent cancellations or rescheduling

What are the rush fees?
Pre-scheduled consecutive interpretation (InterAct – hourly charges) requires 48-hour notice for scheduling – if not, rush fees will be incurred. Rush fee structure:
  • Within 48 – 24 hours: 25%
  • Within 24 – 12 hours: 50%
  • Within 12 – 0 hours: 75% – 100%
How are pre-scheduled InterAct Interpretation charged?

There is a 1-hour minimum for all remote virtual interpretation. Billing increment (rounding up) will occur after 15 minutes over scheduled time, resulting in another half hour charged.

How do I get started with InterAct?

Aviva employees will receive an email granting them access to self-register for InterAct. From there, they will be able to gain access to the platform via their own individual account. Additionally, we will host a recorded training that will serve as training material and reference.

How do I get started with Connect?

 To reach an interpreter, you simply dial 855-886-2901 and enter your 7-digit customer ID. After our IVR system recognizes you, it will prompt you to enter your 4-digit PIN.
 
Once the PIN is confirmed, the system moves you into language selection. You can say the name of the language, or you can enter the 3-digit code, such as 772 (SPA) for Spanish, on your telephone keypad.
 
Once the language is noted, we will connect you with your interpreter.

How will I be charged while using InterAct vs. Connect?

While using InterAct, pre-scheduled hourly rate apply. InterAct may incur a higher cost than Connect, but it is a more tailored and personalized experience as you are able to personally pick and continue to work with preferred interpreters. 

Connect is charged by-the-minute and is the more cost-effective option. However, you won’t be able to select interpreters or provide context in the way you can with pre-scheduled sessions via InterAct.
